Jennifer Tilly's birth took place at Los Angeles, California on September 16, 1958. The conditions were horrible. Her father was a vehicle salesman, and her mother was a school teacher. Jennifer was the youngest of her family's four children often accompanied her mother to her theater performances and was much impressed by her. Jennifer's parents separated at the age of five. Jennifer was a part of her childhood living in British Columbia, after her mother relocated there with their four kids. Jennifer did not consider herself a studious person however, she was an artist when she was a child. Jennifer was often the victim of a bullying incident as a result of her time in Canada's schools. Her interest in theater diminished in high school she started participating in plays together with her mom. All of her children were inspired by their mother to pursue a love for the arts. Then she began acting.
